It was a community response to the repeated vandalism at Martin Luther King Park. This day the community came out to repair the damages and to show the children just how much "work" is involved in the maintenance at the park. But, at the same time - it is a lot of fun. And it was fun...........

And those participating all received a blanket made by the children at the United Methodist Church in Perryton, Texas. And the mentors from the church told me that the blankets were made with a lot of love. You could see that in the blankets - how beautiful they are.
